We are thrilled to announce the return of our memorable knitting retreat/train trip from Edmonton to Jasper National Park and back. This time it's a longer trip: 6 days/5 nights with deluxe hotels, private transfers, and train travel. We've partnered with Fresh Tracks Canada, a Vancouver based travel agency to manage all the travel and accommodations. We've invited Stephanie Pearl-McPhee to join us and we'll be hosting some tried-and-true and totally brand new, in-person classes with Stephanie.

Overview:
Come visit Barb & Cynthia in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and travel with us and Canada's own "Yarn Harlot", Stephanie Pearl McPhee, to majestic Jasper National Park, where we will take classes, play with wool, enjoy a refreshment or two and make memories!
You can come on your own, with a knitting buddy or friend or family member. Non-knitters are welcome! We've arranged for optional, add-on, outdoor excursions offered through Fresh Tracks Canada and/or you can sign up for a workshop with Stephanie offered through Yarniversity. It's up to you to decide how to spend your time in the fresh mountain air.
April 12: We'll all meet up in Edmonton, at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. Airport transfers will be provided to those who are flying in and Barb and Cynthia will host a get-together on our first night together.
April 13 - 16: The next day, bright and early, our friendly driver will meet us at our hotel and take us to scenic Jasper National Park. Once in Jasper, we will enjoy the comfort and ambiance of the historic Jasper Park Lodge for the next 4 days, with breakfasts and dinners included, as well as optional knitting and weaving classes, and hikes and excursions for those who seek outdoor adventures and wildlife sightings!
Fresh Tracks Canada has arranged for two optional excursions, each priced at $75 CAN per per person, per excursion. Add the "Downloadable Itinerary from Fresh Tracks Canada" to your cart for all the details and Fresh Tracks Canada information.
Barb and Cynthia have scheduled three workshops and one evening talk with Stephanie as add-ons to your trip. The workshops include: Alternative Colourwork or Warm Hands** and Knit Smart. Add the "Workshop Info for Stephanie Pearl McPhee" to your cart for all the details. Once you've booked your place on the trip with Fresh Tracks, we'll send you the link to register for these classes within 24 hours.
** We made a change on October 17 to the workshop offerings to respond to registrations. We've added an additional session of Alternative Colourwork and a new class called Warm Hands and removed the session on Weaving 101.
April 16: At the conclusion of our Jasper stay, the adventure continues as we will wind our way slowly back to Edmonton with a return passage on Canada's historic Via Rail train. Once in Edmonton, we will spend another evening and night at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, relaxing before heading off to the airport, and/or back to our own homes and cities.

Step 2: Robert will need to know: 1) your first and last name as it is written on your Passport or Government ID; 2) your date of birth for trip cancellation insurance; 3) your email address, 4) whether or not you would like single occupancy or double occupancy and 5) whether you would like to book one of the optional excursions offered through Fresh Tracks.
Step 3: On October 15, Barb and/or Cynthia will open up registration for workshops with Stephanie Pearl McPhee. The registration page will only be accessible to registered retreat participants.
